College...Universities...stress..

these days i'm so busy with college work and applying to Universities and working on my Fashion portfolio work for interviews etc.. its all so stressing, i really would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get a place into Saint Martins university..i have really wanted to go there from a long time, lets wish they'll give me a place.

i haven't really been on the computer much lately for socialising cos of the amount of work i have but anyways last week i had a fantasy shoot with a photographer called Rhian cox who is an amazing photographer, have really wanted to shoot with her from a long time and finally did and the pictures were amazing!!!. i think they would bring something very different to my modelling portfolio. The shoot was meant to be like a fantasy sorta shoot, i actually got to wear the REAL OUTFITS from the "Labyrinth" movie, they were beautiful!!! but the pictures turned out pretty good! :D

ts really wierd like how the more i listen to her, the more i like her...last year when i went to see the pussycat dolls, she was there too performing and since then i started loving her more and more everyday...she's just sooo inspirational to me.

As i'm a Fashion student, i kinda got a bit inspired by her and added something she would wear to my collection too. My collection is inspired by 1950s and 80s with Rainbow colours so very colourfull :D

p.s. today i finally finished a scarf i started knitting 2 weeks ago which got me thinking, i wanna do a whole collection now since i already made 2 knitted scarves haha ;)

HAPPY NEW YEAR 2010!!!

OMG! i can't actually believe its already 2010!!!!!!... WOW! 2009 went so fast! :S i didn't even realise.. i wish this year brings me and all my friends great succes, health, peace & Love!!!..

Last night i went to the club Heaven with Mete, Lucy and Daniel...we went like 9pm and we just drank a lil bit before we got in LOL!. was kinda fun actually... we danced sooo much, and they played some of my favourite songs too..at 11:59, the count down was sooo fun! because the Band "A1" were there too counting with us.. it was so noisy tho. i met Lucy's friend Frank and his 2 other friends who were really nice =) and then i also met my other friend Paul (& his bf) who i've known for almost 4 years but hadn't met and finally met him last night..also met a few other ppl from facebook so yea i need to hang out more because i had soo much fun with Lucy, Mete and Daniel - they're the nicest people EVER ♥

We were all dancing and Lucy got punched in the face by some randomer for no reason :S...and she got so pissed off and went to look for him, i felt soo sorry for her :( it ruined her night :/ but we tried to make her have a good night =)... and then this italian dude who was dancing close to me was looking at me non- stop and Frank said "LUKE! he's looking at you, do you like him?" i said "well erm yea" so frank pushed me towards him and i put my hands on the italian guy and started dancing and within 30 seconds, we were kissing haha ;) we kissed a few times after that and then i had to leave :(... i got his number but he's on holidays so yea... but he was cute! ♥

Merry christmas to whoever thats reading my blog, hope you guys had a good 1, i sure had a relaxing 1...but santa didn't give me what i wanted!!! a nice hunky guy hahah LOL!!!. ah well maybe some day haha ;)...

anyways the last few weeks its been kinda ok for me in the modelling world. wasn't as busy as i used to be but still busy and i'm kinda getting used to it...Last week i worked with the very well known Fashion photographer IAN COLE!!... it was like a dream come true working with him, because i LOVE his work and have always wanted to work with him, so yea i tested with him for Maverick models who said they wanted to take me on but i needed to get some manly pics with Ian Cole first.

Other than that, i'm going to Watch the "AVATAR" move in 3D tomorow, its meant to be really good but ah lets hope i liked it...

Photoshoots, Fashion shows, college work...

So since i got my pictures from the shoot i did with Modelsconnet. i added them to Modelmayhem and since then some people have been wanting to work with me and i applied to a few castings etc..and got them... so been like SUPER BUSY every week, cos i wouldn't have a day off, i'd either have photoshoots, fashion shows or college....

if i have a day off like once in a while, i'd feel sooo bored and i'd feel like my day has just been wasted :S i could do so much better things in this day! i do not want a break!

18th Birthday +my FIRST EVER casting (LFW)

So it was my birthday on the 1st of september, a few weeks back...i wanted to be 18 sooo badly and when i finally turned 18, i just felt like i was free and like an open bird who could do whatever it wanted...i went to the Bar with my friend Mete where we met his older friends, they made me drink for the 1st time ever haha. and the taste just got better and better...then we went to the club and danced like non stop, was a really fun night! :)

Then after a few weeks, my friend Mete and Anita and I were going to the Bar and on the way, my friend Anita's Modelling tutor saw us and started talking to us, he said there's a casting for LFW, so come along and he said to me "Your tall and perfect, come along too" and i was thinking OMG! WOW! thank you so much!!... so when we went to the casting, it involved us walking 3 times up and down the room with attitude on the face and then standing like Mannequins for 5 mins... and thats was it. after a week i found out I GOT THROUGHT!!!! but unfortunaly my friend Anita and mete didn't :/...

so when i went for got there on the day of the show, we waited and waited for AGES!!!, and then they were like ok get your shoes out and etc, and i was like "ERM?? what shoes??" they were like "didn't you bring dress shoes?" and i was like, "No, No one told me to bring it, i didn't get an email saying i need to bring dress shoes" so that was already not a good start, they said they would arrange some shoes for me... we did the rehearsel then and afterwards i got called in for Hair and make up, so i waited and waited again... my hair looked great afterwards tho, took some pics with the other models in my normal clothes, so i went out on the runway only once in the end because 2 of the designers decided not to turn up...so yea it wasn't as exciting as it sounded :/ the show was like a part of London fashion week, not exactly the big thing but yea...

Portfolio shoot!!

I basically applied to loads of agencies with a few pictures from the shoot i had with Peter Stancliffe over the last few weeks, i even had a interview with Visage management but i talked to 1 of the models and they said they never got them any work so i thot like just not to bother with it and Dynamic models were also interested in me but they both wanted me to pay for a portfolio which i didn't have....so then Modelsconnect got back to me from a few of the people i applied to...

The guy was called Faisel, he said he thought i had potential and he gave me like a time limit (an hour) to decide if i would like to do a portfolio shoot with them which will cost like £177 so i thot like well this might be the start to my modelling career so i just agreed and so did my mum cos i'm still 17.... i went for the shoot to this studio called "Spot studio"... i took a big suitecase with me filled with clothes.. at first when i got there, i waited there and then i went to the office where the owner was sitting Sebastian, i paid him the rest of the money i was meant to pay except the Advance i paid...he said he liked my look and i'm tall and slim as well so they can do a few things with me, not just 1...so i had my polaraids taken in my underwear first and i was like running around in my undies being crazy LOL!!

so then i waited, n the hairstylist called me, she did my make up and then she blowdryed my hair which looked amazing!!!, we shot in the studio with a casually look first.. and then for the 2nd look, the photographer took me outside to shoot outside but while i went outside, the photographer said "Ok I shouldn't tell you this but the reason why they want to shoot you more is because they think you have Potential" and i got so happy haha...then i had a very 80s sorta fashionable look and the last and 4th look, my hair was done up and i looked very italian...it was the hottest look ever haha...so yea then i went to the office again to choose the pics so i ended up choosing 5 more pics than my limit so i had to pay extra but the pics looked amazing!!!!...

LETS hope they will get me some work and sign me to some agencies!!
